Normal cyclotomic schemes over a finite commutative ring

We study cyclotomic association schemes over a finite commutative ring R with identity. The main interest for us is to identify the normal cyclotomic schemes C, i.e. those for which Aut(C) ≤ AΓL1(R). The problem is reduced to the case when the ring R is local in which a necessary condition of normality in terms of the subgroup of R defining C, is given. This condition is proved to be sufficient...

On Skew Cyclic Codes over a Finite Ring

In this paper, we classify the skew cyclic codes over Fp + vF_p + v^2F_p, where p is a prime number and v^3 = v. Each skew cyclic code is a F_p+vF_p+v^2F_p-submodule of the (F_p+vF_p+v^2F_p)[x;alpha], where v^3 = v and alpha(v) = -v. Also, we give an explicit forms for the generator of these codes. Moreover, an algorithm of encoding and decoding for these codes is presented.

Cohomology of Finite Group Schemes over a Field

A finite group scheme G over a field k is equivalent to its coordinate algebra, a finite dimensional commutative Hopf algebra k[G] over k. In many contexts, it is natural to consider the rational (or Hochschild) cohomology of G with coefficients in a k[G]-comodule M . This is naturally isomorphic to the cohomology of the dual cocommutative Hopf algebra k[G] with coefficients in the k[G]-module ...

Gröbner Basis and Indecomposable Modules over a like Dedekind Ring

Using Gröbner Basis, we introduce a general algorithm to determine the additive structure of a module, when we know about it using indirect information about its structure. We apply the algorithm to determine the additive structure of indecomposable modules over ZCp, where Cp is the cyclic group of order a prime number p, and the p−pullback {Z→ Zp ← Z} of Z⊕Z.

Vaught’s Conjecture for Modules over a Dedekind Prime Ring

Vaught’s conjecture says that for any countable (complete) first-order theory T, the number of non-isomorphic countable models of T is either countable or 2, where ω is the first infinite cardinal. Vaught’s conjecture for ω-stable theories of modules was proved by Garavaglia [6, Theorem 6]. Buechler proved that Vaught’s conjecture is correct for modules of U-rank 1 [2]. It has been shown that V...
